I get payed and everything. I am now officially working two jobs, one as an agent for a financial broker and one is baking in the Tim's on Barrington and Sackville streets. I like the second one. It is so much fun, except for the starting at four in the morning and now I'm sleep deprived and running on energy drinks. Hooray. Oh well, at least I'm hopefully reading cards tomorrow for Camp Day.

I finally got FFTA2. Yup. Like a week ago. I'm almost done the plot missions.

I've been updating DA and I've been playing Neopets. Something is wrong with me... definitely.

I suspect that the world will most likely not end properly. I have no doubts about some form of intelligent life surviving. The most likely world end in that list will be global warming and "superflu." The most likely end that I actually expect at some point is whatever happens at the end of the recession. It will certainly be interesting to see who comes out financially on top of the situation. Regardless of who it will change the world from the one we know and I consider that to be an end.
I'd like the real end to be zombies though. I can handle zombies.

So I'm back. Everyone's houses exploded somehow. It was crazy. First, the house we were staying in was under another apartment. The pipes froze because the tenant was in prison for beating his girlfriend. So water came pouring down the chandelier. The worst part is that there was a kitten upstairs that had been alone in the freezing apartment. The SPCA took the kitty away.
While I was gone the hotwater heater in my house lost its bottom. It didn't do much damage.
So... um... I got presents!

So I'm off to Ontario for the Christmas things. I'm not sure I like the idea of flying very much, but I guess it has to be done. I'm just starting to feel nervous now and we fly out tomorrow, so I should be okay.
I'm getting Chrono Trigger DS for Christmas! It will be so wonderful. I'm almost done FFVIAdvance, so it will be good to have something for after. I'm finishing up drawing people their presents except Kai, who gets material things.
Also, apparently yawns are the way the body cools the brain down, and yawning helps the things that do it stay more alert. That's why yawns are contagious among social creatures (humans, monkeys, dogs, etc.) and not things like parakeets, the subjects of the study.

I have something in the neighbourhood of three papers due tomorrow. A course reflection, a group project and a book review. On the plus side I finished the group project. This is good. The course reflection is for a class I felt was too third wave feminist to be a respectable science class... it's listed as a psychology course, not cross listed as anything else and it still managed to be about how men are ruining the world, and women's perceptions of themselves. Seriously...
Oh well, the book review is for a book I haven't read, and don't want to read.
Also, I have invented a new punctuation mark. It is called the commabracket, and it will be used in place of grammar errors such as "the paper, which I do not want to write, is supposed to be about three pages" and then there will be no more comma splice errors. This is to help some of the smartest people I know to stop failling at the grammar aspect of papers.

I'M GETTING MARRIED!

I proposed on Halloween to Kai. (I WIN. Hah. I can spell and you can't tonight. Hah.) I forget why now... Kai really wanted an anniversary on Halloween. Like a lot. But it was not to be a marriage, so I did a wedding proposal. I proposed in costume. I was a vampire. I even had teeth. ^,-,^ <-- Is vampire smiley.

On the note of Hellsing fanfic, I am working on university, but there will be new fiction soon. I am in fact moving it all here so that people can find it more easily. I might consider making an archive or something, but I get really bored easy and I'm mostly lazy.

Did anyone else notice that the younger a writer is the more bitchy they find Integra? Why is this?

I learned how to play Poke-Mon about a week ago. Like the card game.

I'm working up the nerve to start an Iscariot fancomic. Everytime I think I can do it, Shine does an Iscariot storyline and I cry because I just can't match that.

Oh gosh, last night was awesome. I got to pretty much make out with Cassandra. Happy! So much kissing... She learned to kiss openmouthed and everything.

Okay... um... that may be one of those too much information things... anyway, she was drunk and I got to try Long Beach Iced Tea, which has like five wonderful types of liquor in it and is super strong. I had two. It was fun. Also, we hung out with construction workers. I feel very much like we should have walked home singing God Save the Queen, but we can't easily walk to Buckingham Palace. Sad that.

Drunk... truly drunk I mean, is not a fun feeling if you have to move. Luckily I had energy drinks and good music. I enjoy being made strange specialty drinks. The bartender had to get out the dictionary of drinks to find one for me. It was awesome.

Cassandra is not my girlfriend. Too many people think so. Her dad is going to flip. Lucky I will be no where near when he comes back. I might get killed. Still, best night EVER.

Oh my gosh drr people scare me. I half expect to see them show up around the corner or from behind doors or something. I read the Enigma of Amigara Fault... otherwise called the Drr manga. It freaked me out so badly. Of course I read it on a dark and stormy night like a good horror reader, but come on, it shouldn't scare me like it did. Oh well, Ringu and Ju-on scared me too so I guess it's just that Japanese horror is good like that. Dark Water was just surprisingly fun to watch.

In related news, I am now on a hunt for the Gyo manga. The Enigma of Amigara Fault is a sidestory in the back of one of the volumes, and the manga itself looks good to me. Walking fish! Yay!

Okay, so wireless internet here is somewhat unreliable. It is the sads. Anyway, I found a new fandom I'm in love with. Trinity Blood is my new almost favourite thing. Nothing tops Hellsing for me right now sure, but Trinity Blood is pretty awesome. Oh right... I found the first episode of the Monster anime. Having read the first volume, I don't know how I'm going to like it, but I'm going to try to convince Cassandra to watch it with me.

I'm still keeping up with the Hellsing manga goodness. I love it to bits.

I'm highly sad that I can't get a hold of the latest Harry Potter book. I want to so much. I mean, the series has been going down hill for me but I want to see the end. Further to that, it had better be the end. I heard rumors of more than seven books or something. Oh well. It had better not be as unsatisfying as Order of the Phoenix was for me. That would be sad.

In other news I apparently have a kitten with Kai. This is happy making. Momo the kitty.

Also, the animals where I'm house sitting don't hate me anymore. The dog has hip problems, but she was so excited to see me that she jumped up like a puppy. I was so super happy.

Pom juice is like... my favourite thing ever.

Cassandra is no longer allowed to use elipses. They are bad for her.

I don't care how low people's opinion of me becomes, I still love MCR anyway.

Yup. Posting in my journal. I don't really miss home, except for the computer. I miss compy! And being able to drive to the pet boy's house and hang out there. Oh how I miss my friends and stuff! I've started the second book in the series of wonderful books of mine and the end of the whole series is remarkably depressing. The second book takes place in Japan, and I did a lot of research for it. Man was it hard. Next book goes all the way to Russia, the happiest country on Earth! Oh right... Russia's the sad European country... forgot about that for a second.

My job is interesting I guess. I spend six hours a day standing and getting things for people. I work in a conveinience store! Yay! I suddenly have so much more respect for Mom who works longer hours for less pay.

I miss university. I want to go back so much.

In still other news, I'm getting the blonde cut out of my hair soon. This should be interesting, as I think I'll have it dyed before I come back just for fun. I have a colour list and I can check off all the natural colours plus blue and purple. Now it is time for something like green or the really cool fire engine red. I like red.

Hellsing makes my day. I must make Hellsing, the abridged series. It will be wonderful. "Why did you crush your glasses Maxwell?" "That's the third pair this week... Looks like it's a trip to Vogue Optical for me."

Alternatively, "Last time on Hellsing, we were trying to follow the manga plot sort of. This time we'll turn that situation around 180 degrees!"

Paladin please me to no end, even though I sometimes dislike being Lawful Good. That's hard. Why? Why can't Paladin be just Good? Good thing I made elemental warriors. Fire is Chaotic Neutral, Water is Lawful Neutral, Air is Chaotic Good and Earth is Lawful Good. However, I think Fire could best be described as Chaotic Angst... but that's because Michael is an angst muffin. They all angst but not like s/he does.

My Paladin please me a lot. I'll shut up about them now. Just know I may not be back for a bit over the summer. Bittersweet that, but take heart fiction fans, I'll return and probably have A Day in the Life of... for everyone and Alucard's dog.
